Q. Do you provide English-speaking tour guides? A. Your guide will always be English speaking and in most cases as their first language.
Q. Do you offer discounts for senior citizens, members of certain associations? A. Yes, a 10% reduction is offered to all persons over the age of 60 years. We also offer 10% discounts to UK and US military personnel.
Q. What is your Child Policy? A. The minimum age for tours is 8 years. A parent or guardian must accompany clients under 18 years of age.
Q. Can you arrange a private tour for our family or group? A. We can design an itinerary at a time that suits you, to your own requirements and within your own budget. Please send your request by using our online enquiry form or by fax.
Q. Do you provide a travel agent style service booking tickets for rail, air or ferry? A. We do not provide the services of a travel agent. Booking of individual tickets for rail, air, boat or ferry will be your responsibility. Pre-planned tours include airport transfer as part of our tour package. If you wish to visit us on your own independent tour, transportation by car can be arranged with advance warning and subject to availability.
Q. Is it possible that our itinerary or accommodation could change? A. In the event that a hotel or guest houses can no longer honour a booking accommodation of an equal classification or better will be booked for you. It is rare for an itinerary to change, but in the event of severe weather conditions or roads being blocked there may be unavoidable changes.
Q. Do I require a visa? A. You do not require a visa if you are a US or EU citizen. For all other countries please follow the advice on visa requirements as outlined by the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Q. What is the voltage of the electric power system in Romania? A. In Romania electric power in use is of 220 voltages, AC, usually 2 pronged. We can provide you with an adapter if you forget yours.
Q. What’s the climate like in Romania, what clothes should I wear? A. Romania enjoys warm summers and cold winters. In summer, cool cottons are best and in the winter a warm jacket or alike is recommended. A rain jacket or smock should be carried in your day sac if hiking or on a wildlife viewing.
Q. Are ATMs available? A. ATMs are available in all the cities and towns. Your guide will advise you on specific ATM locations.
